David L. Goodstein
David Louis Goodstein (1939 – vivente), fisico statunitense.

Ludwig Boltzmann, che trascorse gran parte della sua vita a studiare la meccanica statistica, morì nel 1906, per propria mano. Paul Ehrenfest, che portò avanti il lavoro, morì in modo simile nel 1933. Ora è il nostro turno di studiare la meccanica statistica.
Forse sarà saggio affrontare l'argomento con cautela.
- Ludwig Boltzmann, who spent much of his life studying statistical mechanics, died in 1906, by his own hand. Paul Ehrenfest, carrying on the work, died similarly in 1933. Now it is our turn to study statistical mechanics.
Perhaps it will be wise to approach the subject cautiously.
