Citazioni di Hayley Williams[modifica]

Citazioni in ordine temporale.

This is what I've learned in my life: headbanging is crucial. Growing up is hard to do. There's nothing wrong with wearing a dress.[1]
Working hard is a good thing. I realize that the guys and I are extremely blessed to be where we are. It probably seems a bit like I'm talking down to anyone who isn't on tour or selling records. But it's not like that at all. It took a lot of sacrifice and years of touring and working our way from the ground up to get to this point. And even if it was all taken away from us tomorrow, every bit of it was worth it.[2]
The things I thought were going to be important aren't actually so important. In the past, I've sacrificed who I was for who I thought I should be, in order to make someone happy... and it ended up hurting other people as much as it hurt me. For me to be in love with someone means that I have to accept who I am, and not allow another person to define me. And if someone loves me in spite of all that, then that's a start.[3]
I had spend about three weeks in LA before we made that record [Ain't It Fun], and I found myself feeling sorry for myself, which is so stupid. I was at this great crossroads in my life: Am I going to go home and live the same old life where I was miserable for so long or am I going to try something new and step out of my comfort zone? It was kind of a letter to myself to just stop crying.[4]
It is SO cool to be able to say we won a Grammy for being 100% ourselves. A few kids from a relatively small music scene... Nothing feels cooler than still getting support from the peers/heroes we grew up with. While being celebrated by peers/heroes we never imagined would even know we exist! From the punk rock scene to radio to MTV to the Grammys... We have remained true to Pmore. I'm so proud.[5]
