[In merito al golpe del 2009] Che cosa faresti se della gente s'introducesse in casa tua, e picchiasse te e la tua famiglia, e poi questo aggressore volesse parlare con te per dirti: «Va bene, fai il bravo, e resta fuori dal Paese»? Ecco, hanno violato i diritti del presidente Zelaya. Hanno inventato delle accuse nei suoi confronti, senza presentare alcun mandato di arresto. L'hanno buttato via, legato ed esiliato in un altro Paese, e ora vogliono incontrarlo per negoziare con i criminali.
